Neepawa & Gladstone Palliative Care Donation

The Neepawa-Gladstone Co-op employees have donated $2089.00 to the palliative care programs in the communities of Neepawa and Gladstone to be divided equally in each community.   Neepawa Palliative Care Coordinator Mary-Ellen Clark and Gladstone Palliative Care Coordinator Leah Hamm accepted the donations.

Neepawa-Gladstone Co-op employees selected a payroll deduction of $1/pay period which is donated to a charity of their choice.  A little goes a long way and as a result, we helped raise $2089 towards Palliative Care units in our communities.  “It’s a great initiative to give back to the community which coincides with the goals of the Neepawa-Gladstone Co-op.  It is a positive program for each community”, stated Human Resource/Health & Safety Manager Glenda Finkewich, “This is our second year running the program and we are proud to support this effort”.  The Neepawa and Gladstone Palliative Care organizations operate on no government funding so all financial help is important.   The units assist patients, family members, and volunteers put in countless hours of their personal time knowing that they will make a difference in people’s lives.
